Gabby Morreale

At Recovered & Restored Eating Disorder Therapy Center we believe in being a voice for the voiceless. Many people struggling with eating disorders feel unseen, unheard, and misunderstood, and our mission is to change that. Gabby Morreale, our founder and Clinical Director, wants to “be the voice for the people who just felt misunderstood… to support them through it and let them know that healing really is possible.”

Our team of recovered and highly trained professionals brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to every session. Whether you’re looking for a faith-integrated approach through our Christian Eating Disorder Therapy or a more traditional evidence-based model, we meet you where you are. We also provide specialized support for teens, adults, parents, and families, because no one should face recovery alone.

What Causes Eating Disorders & What Does Treatment Look Like?

There’s no single cause of an eating disorder, and blaming gets us nowhere. It only creates shame, which keeps people stuck. That’s why our approach focuses on compassion and education, not blame. Our therapists help clients explore the physical, emotional, cultural, relational, and psychological factors affecting their relationship with food and their body. Treatment is individualized based on each person’s needs, symptoms, goals, and stage of recovery.

At Recovered & Restored, our treatment model is relational, trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, and grounded in Health at Every Size (HAES) principles. Depending on the therapist and client, treatment may incorporate approaches such as CBT-E, DBT, ACT, Brainspotting, EMDR, and other evidence-based interventions.

Faith can also be incorporated into treatment for clients who want a Christian approach, but it is never required.

Some clients meet weekly, while others transition to less frequent appointments as they progress. For clients using out-of-network insurance benefits, we can also provide superbills that may be submitted for possible reimbursement.

More Than Individual Therapy

Eating disorder recovery often involves more than one type of support. Our multidisciplinary team includes therapists, a registered dietitian, and professionals who work with individuals and families throughout different parts of the recovery process.

Depending on your needs, Recovered & Restored offers services including:

  • Individual eating disorder therapy

  • Therapy for teens and adults

  • Family support and coaching

  • Eating disorder nutrition services

  • Meal coaching

  • Therapy for athletes

  • Trauma-focused therapy

  • Christian eating disorder therapy

  • Eating disorder support groups

  • Educational resources and courses

In addition to therapy, we offer a growing library of free resources to make recovery tools accessible to everyone. Parents can explore our Free Courses on topics like identifying the signs of an eating disorder or supporting kids’ body image. Individuals can download free guides such as A Guide to Making Peace with Exercise, Breaking Up with Food Rules, and DBT Skills for Recovery. Our goal is to help every person take the first brave step toward healing, whether that’s reaching out for therapy or starting with education.

Experienced Eating Disorder Therapists Serving Bucks County

Recovery isn’t defined by perfection; it’s built through small, powerful moments of progress. Gabby describes one of her favorite parts of being an eating disorder therapist: “It’s the little victories - when clients start to see, ‘I did this today,’ and they light up… The human spirit is so resilient.”

We celebrate every milestone: finishing a meal without guilt, taking a rest day without shame, or simply recognizing that a thought is not a command. Those moments of freedom add up. And while recovery takes courage, the journey is not meant to be walked alone. Our therapists are allies who listen, challenge, and cheer for you every step of the way.
